Les escribo desde Santiago de Chile y espero que ustedes me puedan ayudar.
He recurrido a todos los organismos italianos con representación en mi país y no he podido
conseguir la información que necesito.
Necesito localizar el acta de nacimiento de una persona que nació en Parma a fines de 1800 y que
viajó a Lima, Perú en 1890 y cerca de 1910 se trasladó a Arequipa, Perú.
Su nombre era Alfredo Mocelli y su otro apellido es Monroy o Conroy.
Mocelli puede estar también escrito como Moselli, con S.
Esta persona es de mi familia. Teníamos todos sus papeles, pero los perdimos en un incendio
y necesito tener su certificado de nacimiento, acta de nacimiento, para poder hacer unos trámites legales.
Ojalá me puedan decir a quien puedo recurrir.

Ho studiato la scienza politica e adesso studio diritto negli
Stati Uniti. Sono curioso circa della politica italiana. Quanti anni fa ho
letto una rivista da Parma che nominava tanitssime partite, incluso una sul
nome di un signore, mi sembra Tommaso Massini. Qui generalmente fanno
concurenza solo due partiti, allora mi fa molta impressione com'un gran
spettacolo, molto diverso, avere tante partiti.
Vorrei conversare circa di
questo tema. Mi dispiace per le mie sbaglie, ho parlato l'italiano a casa
della mia familia, ma senza molto imparare a scuola. Qui negli Stati Uniti
sono andato a asemblee del partito Verde, ma anche m'interesa sapere circa
di partiti di tutte le tendenze politiche.

I have an oil painting that is of an art gallery with many religious
paintings on display. I have sent a picture , via email, of this painting
to The Hermitage, The Louvre (no reply), and to Dr. Karl Schutz at the
Viennese Gallery in an attempt to determine what gallery my painting represents. In
the past, someone suggested to me that it could be of an art gallery in
Parma. The painting dates to sometime prior to 1850.
I would appreciate it very much if you could give me the email address of
the gallery in Parma so I may send this same request and attach a picture
of the painting for their review.

I have a painting by Cecrope Barilli that I would like to know more
about. It is a oil on canvas titled "Little Girl Holding Flowers".
I know he taught in Parma around 1848 and am interested in knowing more about the
artist and if there are any of his works still in Parma.
