Walking up a hill , passing through vineyards that looks like gardens : here you are at the centre of Tenuta la Torretta. From here the eye sweeps  over the extension of neat rows of vines that encircle the Villa. The Tenuta,  of which there are historical information ever since 1600,  was already a viticulture  in 1822 (as showed  in a  plan of the period). Shortly after its well-done restructuring  it became the ideal meeting point for everyone – and there are many of them – who love to combine the pleasure  of vine with discovering  places full of history ,tradition and culture.

The size of the farm suits perfectly the features in taste and  pursuit that guarantee  to the product the best handicraft care giving an undisputed  quality to the final result. The vine cellars are rationally structured, using the most modern vine-making  technics and the tradition of ageing  in

oak barrels  and barrique. The farm became part  - a pieno titolo  - of the oenological entrepreneurial class  of Piacenza for several reasons: the systemic research of the grapes , the planned use of the vineyard   most of it registered   as  vine of guaranted origin  (CONTROLLED DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN COLLI PIACENTINI) , the ancient and noble experience of vine-dresser and the updating of the facilities. All these elements together combined lead La Torretta , today more than in the past, to be a definite point of reference. The farm is always open, holidays too, a phone reservation for groups is appreciated.
