Parma, native town to Parmigianino, to Gian Battista Bodoni, to Giuseppe Verdi and Arturo Toscanini and in 1900, to Giovannino Guareschi (the author of DonCamillo), to Attilio Bertolucci (poet) and to Bernardo Bertolucci (director).

City of Roman origin, with extraordinary Romantic monuments, it lived its most splendid period during the Dukedom of Parma, Piacenza and Guastalla. First with the Farneses, then with the Borbones, and during the reign of Maria Luigia d'Austria (Napoleon’s wife), very loved by the Parmagians.
