The wine road, between villages and castles

Departure from the accomodation in Parma at 9.00 am

First stop: The castle of Scipione, the oldest one in the region, dominating the entire Stirone valley. During the middle age, it would watch over the many wells for the extraction of the salt belonging to the marquis of Pallavicino. With a guide, you will discover the rooms preserved thanks to the dedicated work of the marquis of Pallavicino, still leaving in a wing of the old dwell.

Second stop: local wine cellar for the tasting of coppa, salamis and bread from Piacenza, along with excellent wines of its own production. Visit of the wine cellar and possibility to buy directly from the owner.

Third stop: Castell’arquato, medieval borough of rare beauty. Ancient atmosphere in the alleys of the borough and a breathtaking view from the castle.

Return to the accomodation in Parma at 6.30 pm
