Saint Ilario Award
Every year, starting from January 1987, on the occasion of the city's Patronal feast day, "The Saint Ilario Award" is awarded to the citizens:"...who have in some way contributed to improving the life of an individual and of the comunity;and to the raising of the city's prestige.."

The city of Parma's Gold Medal was awarded to PIETRO BARILLA, for having chosen to work in Parma with skill and dedication, leading his own company to become one of the best in the world, giving importance to the city and contributing to improving the life of its inhabitants.

The city of Parma's Gold Medal was awarded to RICCARDO BRIZZI, distinguished surgeon, he has worked with great dedication for the people of Parma, making our city a reference point in medical science and a place of hope for people from any place or city.

The city of Parma's Gold Medal was awarded to RENZO DEL CHICCA, master in the generations of young people at school and sporting activities. He has made Parma a national and international centre of sport, filled by successes and young activities which still today give importance to the city.

The city of Parma's Gold Medal was awarded to ARISTIDE FOA', protagonist of civil and democratic growth in the city, has continued and shown coherent commitment in his profession and public institutions. He is an example of rectitude and dedication to public well-being and to the civic administration.
